Who we are

Are you up for fun, adventure, incredible experiences and making new friends? Are looking for something to give you the edge in life? Then welcome to the Air Training Corps. We're the UK-wide cadet force with more than 40,000 members between 13 and 20 years.

We're sponsored by the Royal Air Force and can give you hands-on experience of activities and courses that will challenge and develop your skills to help you succeed in whatever you want to do.

Flying

The Air Cadet Organisation uses a fleet of Grob Tutor aircraft for Air Experience Flying (AEF).  2238 (Warminster) Sqn is affiliated with No 2 Air Experience Flight at MOD Boscombe Down.  Typically, cadets have an opportunity for two half hour flights each year.

Older cadets can apply for flying scholarships which provide flight training towards the National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL).

Subject to operational commitments, cadets also have opportunities to fly in RAF aircraft.  Recently, 2238 cadets have flown in BAC-111 and Dominie aircraft.
